November 26th 2019: Sagittarius New Moon, forming a quincunx to Uranus Rx in Taurus. Uranus is opposite Mars in Scorpio, and trine Venus and Ceres in Capricorn.
Each year Sagittarius season brings a unique challenge following the unearthed secrets of Scorpio season- especially true this year after Mercury Rx in Scorpio and the Scorpio New Moon opposite Uranus, unexpected events and plot twists have us entangled in situations that we can only watch unfold at this point (Saturn is edging ever closer to January’s massive conjunction to Pluto…)- When learning the truth turns our world upside down, we have a new landscape to explore. In Sagittarius season we lift our eyes away from the dirty details and on to the horizon. Sagittarius New Moon intentions should be about the attitude we will have on our journey.
Mars opposite Uranus is a transit that stresses the nervous system, overstimulating the collective. Clashes and meltdowns are likely since the need for relief is so urgent. And the New Moon in awkward aspect to Uranus makes setting intentions even more difficult. How do we create authentic personal statements about how to move forward when what we really want is for everything to just stop?
Shortly before the new moon becomes exact, Venus enters Capricorn, joining Ceres who has just completed her trine to Uranus. Ceres trine Uranus is the quiet key to setting new moon intentions that are aligned with a higher vibration of love, cutting through the emotional noise with a no-nonsense approach to getting needs met. When Venus joins Ceres in the trine to Uranus, that will make it possible for us to appreciate or even enjoy the experience of finding a surprising new way forward through this mess.

November 28th 2019: The Moon meets Venus in Capricorn. This is the third of nine Moon/Venus conjunctions in this cycle, representing Inanna’s Ascension through the sacral chakra gate.
The sacral chakra is our organ for multidimensional perceptions and expressions of intimacy. We use it to probe our environments for information about our relationships, and we use it to create a connection with Gaia that informs our social identity, our sexuality, our ability to trust. As the Moon crosses over Venus, conjunct Ceres and trine Uranus, we state our intentions to open our sacral chakra.
A clean and open sacral chakra is free of guilt and shame, allowing healthy self esteem to develop. We can be ambitious instead of insecure, fully accepting that we are works in progress, no perfectionism, simple trust that we will eventually succeed as long as we believe in ourselves. It gives us the wisdom to know what to realistically expect from others, without judgement, and empowers us to stand up for ourselves without being defensive.
-I set my intention for a greater capacity for courage, knowing that pain and grief can sometimes only be transmuted and never truly eradicated.
-I set my intention to discover new ways to take care of myself and accept greater responsibility for making sure I am doing my best.
-I set my intention to welcome the unknown, to be at peace with things in life I can’t control and have patience, believing in myself that I will know the right thing to do when the time comes.
-I set my intentions to realize that people that have harmed me the most are not a reflection of my true self, the way I choose to react or not react to them is a reflection of my true self.
